their lease at Mile High Stadium if a new stadium is built,

the team at a face value of $275. Of the 12 council members
polled by the Denver Post, "most said they see nothing
improper about the offer, and several plan to take advantage
of it" (DENVER POST, 1/13)....FL-based Horrow Sports
Ventures "has helped" Birmingham, AL, execs "piece together"
a $520M plan to build 11 projects, including a stadium that
could house a pro sports team. A sales tax must be approved
to fund the project (FT. LAUDERDALE SUN-SENTINEL, 1/13).
