NOTE: USA TODAY's Rudy Martzke reports that NBC and Turner "are expected" to renew their NBA deals by Tuesday's NBA Board of Governor's meetings in N.Y. The new four-year deals "likely will double the current rights fees," bringing NBC to about $1.5B and TNT/TBS to about $700M. Martzke adds that "much of the additional cost" will be offset by ad revenue from more telecasts (USA TODAY, 11/7).
