ON THE ROCKS: ESPN'S CAMPBELL WON'T DO GAMES FOR FOX SPORTS

ESPN MLB analyst Dave Campbell "will no longer be a
part" of Rockies TV broadcasts, according to Tony DeMarco of
the DENVER POST. Campbell, who has worked Rockies games
over the last four years, is "caught in the squeeze" of Fox
Sports Rocky Mountain's (FSRM) acquisition of the team's TV
rights. FSRM VP/GM Tim Griggs said that he didn't think
Campbell would be back "[u]nless something extraordinary
happens." Griggs said he has talked with Campbell's agent,
Tony Attanasio, but has been "unable" to resolve certain
"sticky issues," including the fact that FSRM "considers"
ESPN a competitor and that working for both "would be a
conflict of interest" for Campbell (DENVER POST, 11/7).
