RAVENS SIGN CONCESSIONAIRE BUT FANS NOT BUYING AT CAMP

CT-based Fine Host has reached a 25-year agreement with
the Ravens to provide food, beverage and other concession
services at the new Ravens stadium, according to the
Baltimore SUN. Fine Host will manage all food service and
novelty sales at the facility, set to open next year. The
Ravens said revenues from the deal "should exceed" $8M a
year. Fine Host also provides concession services to the
Dolphins and Cardinals (Baltimore SUN, 8/19).
HIGH IMPACT SPORT? The Ravens completed their second
year of training camp at Western MD College, and while the
team's Dir of Operations & Information Robert Eller
estimated that 25,000 people visited camp, 5,000 more than
last year, most local merchants "say the team's presence" in
the area "had little or no impact" (Baltimore SUN, 8/19).
