MEDIA NOTES

          The Bucks and WVTV-TV "have agreed in principal" to
     renew their TV deal for two more years."   Also on WVTV,
     Brewers ratings through 53 games have averaged a 5.3, down
     from a 5.7 over the same period a year ago.  The share has
     been about the same (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 8/15).
     ...Fox has hired former NFL player Ray Bentley as an "NFL on
     Fox" game analyst.  He will pair with Eric Clemons on game
     broadcasts (Fox)....TWI, the television arm of IMG, has
     cleared 180 stations, representing 90% of the country, for
     its syndicated "College Football Preview" show (TWI)....Fox
     Sports Pittsburgh set a new Pirates rating record on
     Wednesday with its game against the Braves from Turner
     Field, which posted a 10.2 rating (Fox Sports Pittsburgh).
