FUSION MAY BE RELOCATING BEFORE THEY EVER SETTLE

          The MLS Fusion, its talks with the Orange Bowl
     "stalled," have begun discussions "that could place" the 
     team in Ft. Lauderdale's Lockhart Stadium for the '98
     season, according to according to Jeff Rusnak of the Ft.
     Lauderdale SUN-SENTINEL.  MLS Exec VP & CLO John Ertmann
     "confirmed" that Lockhart is an alternative and that
     Horowitz "has been given the go-ahead by league owners to
     seek another home in case a lease for the Orange Bowl cannot
     be finalized."  Lockhart Stadium would be expanded to 19,000
     for MLS, and restroom facilities, ticket windows, 
     concessions, parking and lighting would "need to be upgraded
     within the next seven months" (SUN-SENTINEL, 8/15).
