MEDIA NOTES

          ABC will rebroadcast the Mike Tyson-Evander Holyfield
     fight this evening in its entirety from 10-11:00pm ET.  ABC
     paid $1M for the broadcast right and an ABC spokesperson
     said, "If we didn't think it was going to get a strong
     number, it wouldn't be on in prime time" (N.Y. POST, 8/14).
     ...SportsChannel FL's August 11 Braves-Marlins broadcast 
     drew an 8.1 rating in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market, the
     largest rating for an event in SportsChannel FL's ten-year
     history (SCFL)....The Central Hockey Association and Fox
     Sports Net "have agreed on" a 20-game TV package of college
     games next season.  Games will be shown on Friday nights
     starting in October (USA TODAY, 8/13).
