TENNIS MOVERS: ATP'S COMMUNICATIONS CHIEF O'KEEFE MOVES ON

          ATP Tour Dir of Communications/Americas KEVIN O'KEEFE
     is leaving his position this week to focus full-time on
     sports entertainment projects.  He will continue his
     relationship with the Tour and will split his office time
     between FL and L.A.  Among O'Keefe's first independent tour
     projects are producing this year's U.S. Open Players Party
     and developing with ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER an ATP Tour-
     sponsored pro-am event benefiting the CA Gov.'s Council on
     Physical Fitness.  O'Keefe is also looking to develop a
     tennis-themed motion picture and is writing a book on the
     sports PR business.  The Tour will conduct a search to fill
     O'Keefe's PR responsibilities.  ATP Tour Senior
     Communications Manager/Americas JOE LYNCH has been promoted
     to Dir of Media Services and Operations/Americas (ATP TOUR).
          DROP SHOTS: The WTA Tour Players' Association has
     extended the contract of Exec Dir SARA FORNACIARI through
     '99 (WTA Tour PA)...ANNA KOURNIKOVA will be a guest on the
     "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno on Friday (USA TODAY, 8/1).
     ...JOHN MCENROE's work on his untitled CD "is in the final
     stages and should be released later this year."....BJORN
     BORG is working on Sweden's behalf in its bid for the 2004
     Olympics (CO Springs GAZETTE TELEGRAPH, 8/1).
