          The Nets will unveil a new logo and uniform Monday
     (DETROIT NEWS, 6/19)....The Canadian Imperial Bank of
     Commerce, which has had 10% ownership of the Blue Jays since
     their inception in '76, won't be part of Murray Frum's new
     ownership group, according to two MLB owners.  Either the
     Royal Bank or the Bank of Montreal, or possibly both, will
     be part of Frum's group (TORONTO SUN, 6/190.....In Utah,
     police arrested a man who mailed letters to Jazz Owner Larry
     Miller threatening to blow up the Delta Center if Miller did
     not give the man $150,000 (SALT LAKE TRIBUNE, 6/19)....A
     decision by the Maloof family to re-investigate the
     "possible purchase" of a 3.5-acre parcel of land adjacent to
     the Ice Palace, after first requesting a deal without the
     land, "is one reason the family has not completed the
     purchase of the Lightning" (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 6/19).
