MARKETING NOTE

          NJ-based Integrated Sports Int'l (ISI) announced it
     will act as the exclusive sports marketing rep for Bucs
     rookie Warrick Dunn and NBA draft prospect Brevin Knight. 
     Dunn was the 12th overall pick in the '97 NFL Draft.  Knight
     was an All-American at Stanford (ISI)....Wieden & Kennedy
     won 14 awards, the most among ad agencies at Wednesday's
     sixth annual Association of Independent Commercial Producers
     Show in N.Y. (N.Y. TIMES, 6/13)....In N.Y., Richard Wilner:
     "Don't expect sporting goods retailers to do cartwheels over
     the possibility that the Chicago Bulls will wrap up yet
     another championship tonight. ... Sales of licensed goods
     are flat and the perennial hot seller -- the NBA -- is
     beginning to cool" (N.Y. POST, 6/13)....France-based Salomon
     SA, the world's largest ski manufacturer, will open its
     first U.S. design center in Boulder, CO, around September 1
     (DENVER POST, 6/12)....After a N.Y. Times report that
     reported possible mergers and acquisitions in the sporting
     goods industry, JumboSports Chair Stephen Bebis said, "We
     don't comment on industry rumors.  Someone said, 'Are you
     for sale?'  I said, 'No.  But if offered the right money, I
     will think about it'" (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 6/13).
