MORE RATINGS: USA TODAY's Rudy Martzke reports that ESPN's and Fox's Stanley Cup ratings "finished 8% higher" over last year (USA TODAY, 6/11)....Sunday's TNN coverage of NASCAR's Pocono, PA, 500 recorded an event-best 4.8 cable rating. The cable rating was up 23% from '96's 3.9, and a 14% increase over the previous high of 4.2 in '95 (NASCAR).
