NO FRAUD PATTERN DETECTED IN THE 49ERS' STADIUM VOTE

          In San Francisco, while "rumors abound," an "early
     analysis" of signatures in "at least one key precinct has
     yet to turn up any pattern of fraud" in the 49ers' June 3
     stadium financing election victory, according to Matier &
     Ross of the S.F. CHRONICLE.  S.F. Elections Dir Germaine
     Wong said that there have been five reports of voter fraud
     to her office so far, "but only one double vote had been
     confirmed."  Matier & Ross: "That case has been turned over
     to the district attorney" (S.F. CHRONICLE, 6/11).
