REPORT HAS INTERBREW INCREASING ITS STAKE IN THE JAYS

          In Toronto, an MLB owner tells the SUN's Bob Elliott
     that the bid by Toronto realtor Murray Frum to buy the Blue
     Jays is currently being restructured.  Interbrew SA, which
     owns 90% of the Jays, is "considering staying in the game"
     with 35% of the package in a restructured financial
     proposal.  This is a change from last year, when Interbrew
     board member Alan Chapin said the brewery would like to
     reduce its share to 20%.  Chapin told Elliott: "I don't
     expect there to be any problems putting the deal together." 
     One person "familiar with negotiations" between Frum and
     Interbrew said that the "possible" sale will not be
     discussed by the MLB ownership committee until "some point
     this summer" (TORONTO SUN, 5/14).
