STADIUM NOTES

          In Miami, Barry Jackson writes that Monday's FL House
     vote defeating Wayne Huizenga's bid for up to $60M in state
     funds for Pro Player Stadium renovations "could alter plans
     for future upgrades" to the stadium.  Renovations already
     under way, including concession area and parking lot
     alterations, will be completed (MIAMI HERALD, 4/30).  A
     HERALD editorial states, "And so, in bipartisan splendor,
     the Outraged on Monday won one from the Dipper.  'Bout time"
     (MIAMI HERALD, 4/30).....The Tampa Sports Authority (TSA) is
     considering Gabe Paul, current VP/Stadium Ops at Milwaukee's
     County Stadium, Lightning Gov. David LeFevre and interim
     Exec Dir Henry Saavedra, as its new Exec Dir (TAMPA BAY
     BUSINESS JOURNAL, 4/28 issue)....In San Diego, Hank Wesch
     writes that Cox Communications is "the apparent prime
     candidate" to purchase naming rights to San Diego State
     Univ.'s new arena (SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE, 4/29).
