TASTIER FARE FOR RAIDERS GAMES AS COLISEUM SIGNS NEW VENDORS

          The city of Oakland and the county's Joint Powers
     Authority approved a preliminary contract with NY-based Ogden
     Entertainment and Chicago-based Levy Restaurants for food
     service contracts at the Oakland Coliseum, according to Renee
     Koury of the SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS.  The companies will
     provide food at the Coliseum/Arena over the next 14 years. 
     Incumbent Volume Services did not submit a bid for the
     contract.  Ogden will provide general concessions, while Levy
     will provide "premium" foods (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 3/14).
