TEAM MEDIA NOTES: THIS REVOLUTION WILL BE HEARD

          The MLS New England Revolution have launched the New
     England Revolution Latino Radio Network.  Five radio
     stations will broadcast the team's games in Spanish
     throughout New England, with Boston's WRCA-AM serving as the
     network's flagship.  Network sales is being handled by MA-
     based Peter Kadetsky Broadcast Sales (Revolution).
          MLB CARDINALS: Former SS Ozzie Smith will serve as a 
     commentator for the 22 Cardinals home games televised by St.
     Louis' KPLR-TV  (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 2/21).
          TWINS: Midwest Sports Channel has abolished pay-per-
     view telecasts from its Twins schedule due to low buy rates
     and will now show 105 games on basic cable this season 
     (Minneapolis STAR-TRIBUNE, 2/21).  
          ORIOLES:  The SUN's Milton Kent notes ESPN baseball
     studio anchor Gary Miller has "re-emerged as a solid
     candidate" to replace Mel Proctor as play-by-play announcer
     for Orioles telecasts on HTS (Baltimore SUN, 2/21).
          ROYALS: In MO, Fox Sports Rocky Mountain has to
     convince cable systems American Cablevision and Jones
     Intercable to carry its channel or almost 40% of the Royals'
     games will be unavailable to a large portion of the K.C.
     metro area (K.C. STAR, 2/21).
          CLASH: The MLS San Jose Clash and San Jose's KICU-TV
     will announce a three-year deal to put at least 10 games per
     season on KICU-TV each of the next three years.  The team
     will also announce a radio deal with holdover KLIV-AM, and
     announced new carrier KATD, which extends Clash coverage to
     Sacramento and Modesto (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 2/21)
