BRUT THINKS AIKMAN SMELLS LIKE A WINNER WITH NEW AD CAMPAIGN

          Cowboys QB Troy Aikman has signed an endorsement deal
     with Brut cologne, according to Neal Travis' "New York"
     column in the N.Y. POST.  Aikman will shoot ads next week
     for an April campaign.  The spots show Aikman "being tackled
     by a beautiful young woman."  Travis notes Aikman follows
     other sports legends as a 'Brut Man,'" including Joe Namath,
     Mickey Mantle and Wilt Chamberlain (N.Y. POST, 2/20).
          CHIP SHOTS FOR MIZUNO: S.F.-based Hyett, Broadbent &
     Heimbrodt is using the Braves' Chipper Jones in a $3M plus
     ad campaign for Mizuno USA.  Two spots broke last week in
     Atlanta and Miami, and the spots will be "rolled out" in
     other markets later this year.  The spots reflect Mizuno's
     new marketing "emphasis" on baseball gear and running shoes
     (Joan Voight, ADWEEK, 2/17 issue).
