MORE ADVERTISERS DISHING IT OUT FOR NBA.COM

          The NBA has seven new advertisers for its World Wide
     Web site, NBA.com.  New sponsors are: AmEx, AT&T, Champion
     Products, Electronic Arts, Excite, Konami, and Microsoft. 
     Schick, the first-ever advertiser on NBA.com, will continue
     its relationship this season (NBA). In AD AGE, Jeff Jensen
     notes eleven total advertisers will appear on NBA.com this
     season.  There is "no set rate card" since the NBA will
     "customize ad packages for sponsors."  McDonald's, which
     sponsors traditional balloting for the NBA All-Star Game,
     will also sponsor online balloting (AD AGE, 12/9).
          NEWS & NOTES: The USBL, the publicly traded basketball
     league, has launched a web site for shareholders, fans and
     potential investors at http://www.enterx.com/usbl/.  The
     site was launched with the assistance of Newport, RI-based
     EnterNet Corporate Communications (USBL)....According to
     Jupiter Communications, ESPN SportsZone ranked ninth among
     web sites in ad revenue for the year through September at
     $4.1M (AD AGE, 12/9). ESPN is reportedly in talks with MLB
     about carrying more games in live audio through SportsZone
     next season (B&C, 12/9 issue)....Super Bowl XXXI Host
     Committee launched its official website at http://www.super
     bowl host.org (Super Bowl XXXI Host Committee).
