MEDIA NOTES

          Princeton Video Image (PVI) is profiled in the
     PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER.  The MLB Giants use PVI's ad
     insertion technology for local home broadcasts and Jason
     Pearl, corporate sponsorship manager for the Giants, says
     the team is "happy" with the new technology and new revenue. 
     The team has sold ads to Nissan, Kellogg's, Pacific Bell, a
     local supermarket and local meat company (PHILADELPHIA
     INQUIRER, 12/9)....CBS announcer Gary McCord, who was a
     technical advisor and had a small part in the golf movie
     "Tin Cup," is about to begin work with "Tin Cup" Writer/Dir
     Ron Shelton on a TV series based on the movie (GOLFWEEK,
     12/7 issue)....Fox will add power-play data and slap shot
     speed to its NHL FoxBox on NHL telecasts this season (BOSTON
     HERALD, 12/8).
