STADIUM NOTES

     Volume Services will be the exclusive foodservice provider
at new 9,000-seat Canal Park in downtown Akron, where the AA
Blast will begin play next season (Volume
Services)....Sportservice Corp. agreed to a ten-year contract to
provide food and beverage service for the new 20,000-seat
Nashville arena (Sportservice)..."You're Our Guest" will be the
dominant theme for all Ice Palace ticketholders.  All Ice Palace
staffers will undergo training to "better assist guests" (Ice
Palace)....In Milwaukee, a federal judge Thursday refused to
grant a temporary injunction to block construction of the new
Brewers stadium, clearing the way for work to start next week
(MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL 10/18).
