FOX SPORTS NET ANNOUNCES DEBUT FOR NOVEMBER 1

     Fox Sports Net, the national sports cable network alliance
between Fox Sports and Liberty Media's Prime, debuts Friday,
November 1.  Fox Sports Net consists of Prime's seven regional
sports cable channels, as well as Florida's Sunshine Network and
Fox Sports Arizona.  Also premiering November 1 on Fox Sports Net
is Fox Sports News.  In addition to national features, Fox Sports
News provides windows for locally-produced news from each
regional channel.  Starting today, an on-air promotional campaign
will alert viewers to the premiere of Fox Sports Net.  The effort
features sports personalities, including Penn State Coach Joe
Paterno, the Avalanche's Patrick Roy, the Lakers' Del Harris, the
Mavs' Jason Kidd and D'Backs Manager Buck Showalter (Fox).
