OLYMPIC NOTES

     ACOG Security Manager Bill Rathburn told the AP that the
Atlanta Games were plagued by behind the scenes management
problems because the Games were too big to handle.  Rathburn:
"Certainly, the work force here was not nearly large enough to
support a games of this size. ...Just to sell all the tickets you
can sell is not necessarily the right approach (AP/ATLANTA
CONSTITUTION, 9/10)....The International Track and Field
Federation is expected to award Grand Prix track meets for next
season to Charlotte and Eugene, OR (Atlanta Constitution, 9/10).
