     Sara Lee's Champions sportswear division has narrowed the
competition for its $10M ad account to DDB Needham, Chicago; TBWA
Chiat/Day, New York; Grey Advertising, New York; and Hal Riney &
Partners, San Francisco (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 8/26)....Will McDonough
notes in the BOSTON GLOBE that the Raptors' Marcus Camby is
"still looking for a sneaker contract," as the "big sneaker
companies are staying away" because of the "lack of character"
Camby showed when he took money and jewelry "under the table"
before his senior year at UMass (BOSTON GLOBE, 8/24)....Michael
Jordan's new cologne was profiled on "Entertainment Tonight."
The bottle features a basketball on the front with sneaker tread
on the bottom.  It costs $23 and will debut in November ("ET,"
8/23).....The home fitness industry is examined in the N.Y.
TIMES.  Sales for home exercise equipment have tripled since '87,
rising to $2.5B last year (N.Y. TIMES, 8/25).
