BRONCOS NAME FORMER MALL HEAD TO LEAD TEAM OPERATIONS

     DAVID WASS was named VP/Operations for the Broncos in a
newly created position for the team, according to the DENVER
POST. The position was created after organizational structure
recommendations were made by a consultant hired by owner PAT
BOWLEN.  Wass' responsibilities will include business and
financial management, marketing, sales, media relations, ticket
operations, facilities, human resource management and community
relations.  Wass was GM for Cherry Creek Mall in Denver, one of
MI-based Taubman Co.'s "premiere" malls.  Wass, noting the change
Denver marketplace with the addition of the Rockies and
Avalanche, said, "In the past, where we were seeking out dollars
and promotions with very little competition, it's much more
competitive today" (DENVER POST, 8/22).
