WILSON SEES SUCCESS IN PAIRS: NAMES SPORTS DIVISION HEADS

     Wilson Sporting Goods has named Jim Baugh as their new
President, according to George Lazarus of the CHICAGO TRIBUNE.
Baugh, 46, was previously VP/GM Racquet Sports at the company,
and as President, he will head up Wilson's operations in the U.S.
and Canada, and foreign units other than Wilson Europe and Wilson
Japan.  Those units will be overseen by Amer Group Ltd. CEO Roger
Talermo.  Amer is Wilson's Finnish-based parent.  Baugh will also
have global responsibility for Wilson's marketing strategies,
branding and product development.  Wilson did not name a
successor for Baugh's former position (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 8/21).
