SUPER AD SALES FOR SUPER BOWL XXXI

This year's Super Bowl "could be one of the fastest-selling
ad buys ever," according to USA TODAY. With more than five
months to go before the game, media experts say Fox TV has fewer
than 10 in-game spots still available for sale. Fox is expected
to sell 55-60 30-second national ad spots during the game at
$1.2M to $1.3M per spot. First quarter slots cost "slightly
more." "Notably absent" from the Super Bowl ad roster is
McDonald's, which declined to comment (Dottie Enrico, USA TODAY,
8/12).
