7/28)....A TIME cover piece calls the U.S. gymnasts the "saving
graces" of Week One (TIME, 8/5)....For the first time, there were
no waiting periods to buy tickets at the box office in the
Welcome South center downtown this past weekend (ATLANTA
CONSTITUTION, 7/28)....Officials have seized more than 27,000
counterfeit T-shirts, hats and other Games-related merchandise
(PHILA. DAILY NEWS, 7/27)....A feature on ACOG COO A.D. Frazier
notes he has "clearly emerged as the field general" of the Games
