     The following charts from Sponsorship Research Int'l USA
show trends in fan interest in MLB over the past year.
NOTES: FAN INTEREST = interest of five or better out of ten (ten
being highest).  MAX FANS = interest of 10 out of 10.  MLB had
the highest gain of fans in each sport over the one year period.
SRI notes with fan interest returning and Anheuser-Busch the only
"dominant" sponsor, MLB is a solid opportunity for sponsorship.
Fans interest based on 3,000+ respondents. Sponsor index based on
1,462 for 2nd quarter '96 and 3,597 for 2nd quarter '95 (THE
DAILY).
