     Vail Resorts agreed to buy Keystone, Breckenridge and
Arapaho Basin ski area in a $310M acquisition.  Vail Resorts
doubles its market share in Colorado to run 475 of the state's
total skier visits.  The purchase is subject to government
approval (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 7/24).... Anheuser-Busch posted an
18% gain in its second quarter results, largely helped by the
sales of its Eagle Snack division to PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division
(WALL STREET JOURNAL, 7/24)....National Pastime is producing a
November autograph signing show featuring all the living 500 home
run hitters.  The company already has deals in place with Willie
McCovey and Eddie Murray (even though after Wednesday night
Murray is still seven homers shy of 500).  Ted Williams is also
scheduled to attend.  He will be paid $350,000 for 1,000
signatures ("SportsCenter," ESPN, 7/24).
