"Kingpin," which stars WOODY HARRELSON and RANDY QUAID (BOSTON
GLOBE, 7/20)...STEFFI GRAF has agreed to pay $2M in taxes in
exchange for the termination of an ongoing tax evasion
investigation.  The agreement will not affect the status of her
father, PETER GRAF, who managed his daughter's finances for years
(USA TODAY 7/22).... NFL Panthers Owner JERRY RICHARDSON said
he's well on the way to complete recovery after undergoing
surgery for prostate cancer (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 7/21)....Agent
DAVID FALK is featured in a WASHINGTON POST Business section
piece, titled, "Is the Sports Agent a Spoiler?"  Some critics say
he's damaging the game with his NBA "Court Cartel" (WASHINGTON
POST, 7/21)....MALCOLM GLAZER's troubled purchase of Houston's
Zapata Corp. is profiled in the ST. PETE TIMES.  The piece notes
the NFL could force Glazer to sell the Bucs should "hefty debt
payments" or money problems begin to affect the team (ST.
PETERSBURG TIMES, 7/21).
