ALL THAT JAZZ: FLAGSHIP STATION AND NBA TEAM SEVER TIES

     After eleven years as the Jazz flagship radio station, KISN-
AM and the team have "ended their official relationship,"
according to the DESERET NEWS.  KISN VP Patrick Ready issued a
press release Saturday outlining the "demise" of the partnership,
after "several months" of talks ended without resolution.  Ready:
"Unfortunately, the much-publicized desire on the part of the
Jazz to own a radio station in Salt Lake and our lack of interest
in selling our station created irreconcilable differences."  Jazz
GM Tim Howells:  "That's fairly accurate.  We were looking for a
more profitable radio deal for us."  Howells said the Jazz are
close to a deal with another station, but he declined to offer
specifics (Rich Evans, DESERET NEWS, 6/30).
