EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     Former Atlanta Mayor and ACOG Co-Chair ANDREW YOUNG will
take a leave of absence from his law business to join ACOG full-
time until the conclusion of the Games.  The move comes at the
request of ACOG CEO BILLY PAYNE (ACOG)....JAY ALVES has joined
SportsChannel Pacific as Dir of PR and Communications.  He
replaces ERIC STANION who has opened his own communications
company, ESCommunications (GOULD MEDIA). ....Former Blazers VP
BRAD GREENBERG was named 76ers new VP of Basketball Ops and GM
(PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 5/9).... Other recent 76ers appointments:
DAVE COSKEY as VP/Commun.; DIANA TUPPENY-HESS as Community
Relations Dir; JODI SILVERMAN as Dir of PR; NINA MCELROY as
Assistant Dir of PR;  KEITH GREEN as Assistant Dir of Community
Relations; and PATTY BUTLER as Communications Assistant (76ers).
