     Hollywood Casino Corp. and PepsiCo have announced a five-
year marketing alliance that will include retail promos,
merchandising and joint entertainment marketing ventures.  Pepsi
will be the official soft drink of all Hollywood Casino
entertainment and gaming properties (AD AGE ONLINE, 5/9)....Kmart
is launching the $1M Team Kmart Sweepstakes offer through which a
$1M grand prize winner will be selected if the No. 37
Kmart/Little Caesars-sponsored NASCAR driver John Andretti wins
the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Kmart,
Little Ceasars and their associate sponsors, including RC, Bell
South, Coinex, Coleman, Eveready, Gillette, Kleenex, Maxell, RCA
Label Group and T-Plus are offering the sweepstakes
(Kmart)....SportGrass Inc. has launched a web site which offers
an up to date list of all SportGrass installations and a complete

(SportGrass)....As part of its sponsorship of the ATP Tour,
Mercedes-Benz developed a special edition ATP Tour C-Class car,
which has the ATP Tour stickman logo on the outside, on the floor
mats, and on the gear shift.  The car is only available in
Germany, and in its first month of availability, Mercedes sold
5,400 (ATP Tour)....Rick Konrad, U.S. portfolio manager of
Canadian money management firm Lincluden Management Ltd., on
Reebok Chair & CEO Paul Fireman's call to give him two years to
turn around the company:  "One year ago Paul indicated that he
should be measured on his results over the next year.  Now he's
giving himself another 24 months -- that's what I oppose" (BOSTON
HERALD, 5/8)....Due to strong sales associated with its AVP
promotions, PowerAde has decided to add two more markets, Belmar
and Milwaukee, to its promotion plans.  Included are local radio
buys and point-of-purchase displays (AVP).
