     Royals Manager Bob Boone claims fans unrest in Kansas City
could be a result of improper marketing of the team's younger
players.  Boone: "Our marketing might be a bit misplaced.  We're
promising Johnny Damon like the Bulls promise Michael Jordan"
(K.C. STAR, 5/9)....Hawks Exec VP Lee Douglas said advance sales
for Sunday's Game 3 against the Magic has drawn 10,000.  He
doubts Sunday's game will be sold out in time to make NBC's
telecasts available in Atlanta (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION,
5/9)...There were two playoff hockey games in the Chicago area
last night.  The Blackhawks had a sellout of 22,454, while the
IHL Wolves drew 5,235 at the Rosemont Horizon (CHICAGO TRIBUNE,
5/9)....SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS columnist Buck Harvey, on the
Spurs having difficulty selling playoff tickets:  "If Tuesday
wasn't a sign to the ownership group that a move is inevitable,
then doesn't it provide all the justification they would ever
need?" (SAN ANTONIO-EXPRESS NEWS, 5/9).
