EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     SportsLine USA has hired MARK MARIANI, former Turner
Broadcasting Exec VP of Sports Sales, as its new Exec VP.
Mariani will be responsible for "creation, development and sale"
of interactive advertising and sponsorship on SportsLine
(SportsLine USA).  Mariani:  "The Internet is the new frontier
for communications much the way cable was when I joined Turner 10

JOE FAVORITO has resigned, effective immediately
(SportsTicker)....MARK GOLDSTON, former President of L.A. Gear
and one-time Chief Marketing Officer for Reebok, was named
President of Einstein Bros. Bagels of Golden, CO.  He most
recently headed the Goldston Group, an L.A.-based consultancy (AD
AGE ONLINE, 4/25).
