     Advance Auto Parts has signed on as sponsor of the second
race of the IMSA Slick 50 Pro Series, April 21, at Road at Road
Atlanta (Slick 50 Pro Series)....LDDS/WorldCom Wednesday filmed
TV spots featuring Michael Jordan.  The spots are scheduled to
run later this spring on national TV and cable (AD AGE ONLINE,
3/28)....The former Dunlop Tire Pro-Am Awards Dinner has been
canceled after losing Dunlop Tire Corp. as its major sponsor.
The dinner honored the nation's top pro and amateur athletes
(Buffalo BUSINESS FIRST, 3/27)....AT&T Wednesday announced
thirteen companies participating in an AT&T WorldNet charter
advertising preview.  Among them:  The NBA, Cox Communications'
Atlanta Games site, and MasterCard Int'l (AD AGE ONLINE,
3/28).... Corel Corp. reported a fiscal first-quarter net loss of
$6.6M (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 3/28)....Calgary-based Forzani,
Canada's largest sporting goods specialty retailer, said it lost
C$4.9M for the year ending January 28 -- the first annual loss in
22-years for the company (Toronto GLOBE & MAIL,
3/28)....Princeton Video Image marketer Sam McCleery says one MLB
team will use their advertising technology to create signage on
TV, and the MLS Metro Stars will use it to put logos on the field
(Michael Hiestand, USA TODAY, 3/28).
