NASCAR SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH H&C RACING TO RUN NASCAR CAFE

     NASCAR has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement
with H&C Racing, LLC, to own, operate and manage a nationwide
chain of NASCAR-themed, interactive eating experience restaurants
to be known as the NASCAR Cafe.  Brian France, NASCAR's VP of
Marketing & Corporate Communications, said the deal "focuses on
10 NASCAR Cafes to be opened within a five year period at a
capital investment of $4-6 million per site."  The first Cafe
will open September '96 in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Another will open
in early '98 as part of the E-Zone in Orlando, FL.  H&C Racing,
in concert with NASCAR, is currently negotiating with other
potential sites.  France:  "We view this project as a logical
extension of our licensing business and its efforts to build the
NASCAR brand worldwide."  NASCAR and H&C Racing have selected the
Dallas-based Charles Daboub Inc. to design the NASCAR Cafe
concept.  Daboub's design experience includes Hard Rock Cafe and
Planet Hollywood (NASCAR).
