FOX KICKS OFF SPORTS ON fX WITH WORLD LEAGUE GAMES

     fX, the entertainment and sports cable network, will
telecast the '96 World League of American Football (WLAF) season,
premiering April 13.  The WLAF is a joint venture between the NFL
and Fox, and is entering its fourth season.  The league's six
teams each play a ten-game schedule.  Fox Sports President David
Hill said fans "should expect the same high quality telecasts
they are accustomed to seeing during our NFL on Fox coverage."
fX is currently seen in around 26 million homes, and the WLAF is
the first sports programming to air on the network (Fox Sports).
