     Bulls Chair JERRY REINSDORF on speculation that MICHAEL
JORDAN may try and spite the Bulls by signing with the Knicks,
"Did Michael say that, or [NBC's Peter Vecsey]?  If [Vecsey] said
that then I have no comment.  I don't care what anybody
speculates" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 2/27)....MONICA SELES, KEN GRIFFEY,
JR, SHAQUILLE O'NEAL and ANDRE AGASSI celebrated the official
opening of their second All-Star Cafe in Cancun, Mexico Monday
night.  WESLEY SNIPES and SYLVESTER STALLONE joined the
celebration ("ET," 2/27).... JERRY COLANGELO is featured in the
latest INSIDE SPORTS by Pat O'Brien.  O'Brien calls Colangelo
"one of the good guys" in sports who is "always available and
always upfront and truthful" (INSIDE SPORTS, 4/96 issue)....The
new minor league baseball franchise in Bangor, ME will be known
as the BLUE OX.  The team's name was chosen from 1,200
submissions in a January contest (USA TODAY, 2/28)...Duke Coach
MIKE KRZYZEWSKI took himself out of the running to be the new
coach at Illinois.  He had been mentioned as a possible
replacement to LOU HENSON (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 2/28)....Spurs star
DAVID ROBINSON has his own Web page.  It can be accessed at
