     A "high-ranking" baseball exec confirmed that Belgian
brewery Interbrew SA has been granted a two-month extension as
short-term owners of the Blue Jays.  MLB's original deadline was
January 26, but the source said "there's no problem."  Jays
President Paul Beeston: "They just need more time to ascertain
whether they want to keep the ball club" (FINANCIAL POST,
1/30)....MLB's ownership committee has scheduled a 1:00pm
conference call to consider the sale of the Pirates to a group
led by Kevin McClathcy.  If the committee OK's the deal, their
recommendation will go to MLB owners for ratification (USA TODAY,
1/31)....The Broncos announced they are raising ticket prices for
the second time in three years.  The average ticket price for
next season will cost $32.71, with an average increase of $3.35
per ticket.  The team's increase will generate an extra $2.55M in
revenue per season.  After the splits with the city and visiting
teams, the Broncos will get an extra $1.1M a year (Colorado
Springs GAZETTE TELEGRAPH, 1/31)....The Dolphins announced ticket
prices will remain the same for the '96 season.  Season-ticket
prices will stay at $380 ($38 per game) for the low sidelines to
$170 in the upper deck.  Individual game tickets will range from
$20-$43.  The price of parking will remain $10 for general lots
and $20 for preferred (MIAMI HERALD, 1/31)....The White Sox hold
their fourth annual SoxFest this weekend.  The team expects
around 15,000 fans to attend (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 1/31).
