     Releasing an NFL study that found that "60% of its most avid
fans followed pro football as 11-year-olds," NFLP Properties
President Sara Levinson announced that Properties is continuing
its "Play Football" campaign.  Gene Washington will serve as Dir
of Football Development for the program, which is designed to get
more kids ages 6-12 playing the sport (USA TODAY, 1/29)....Deion
Sanders, noting the star power of his team: "We're Hollywood.  I
can't help it if we've got some very marketable guys on our team.
I can't help that we're charismatic, we have charisma, we have
pizazz.  You know what, I'm thinking about telling Jerry let's
move the team to Hollywood, because I mean that's where we should
be" ("SportsCenter," ESPN, 1/29)....Don King's stunt -- holding a
press conference adjacent to other Super Bowl activities --
failed, according to the WASHINGTON POST.  Only about 25 of the
2,300 journalists in Phoenix showed up to listen to King promote
the March 16 Tyson-Bruno fight (WASHINGTON POST, 1/28)....In
Toronto, Stephen Brunt bashes the Super Bowl pre-game show for
following a tribute of the Arizona Native American population
with the theme from Disney's "Pochahontas" (GLOBE & MAIL,
1/29)....Through Saturday night, approximately 167,000 fans had
entered the NFL Experience, with total attendance expected to hit
200,000 (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 1/29).
