     JON LITTNER will become VP/Programming at ABC Sports.  He
was previously with The Baseball Network (USA TODAY, 1/24)....NBC
appointed MARK HARRINGTON to be VP/GM of its new all-new cable
network MSNBC.  He will report to NBC News President ANDREW LACK.
Harrington has been with CBS for 25 years (N.Y. TIMES,
1/24)....Red Sox Exec VP/Baseball Ops LOU GORMAN announced his
retirement and will assume a part-time role with the team as a
consultant (BOSTON GLOBE, 1/24).
