The NHL is in Boston this week, culminating with the All-
Star Game at the FleetCenter on Saturday. On the Internet, there
isn't too much in the way of previews of the game (yet), but
there is plenty of general hockey info to be found. (1) Start at
the NHL's "Open Net" at http://www.nhl. com. The site, currently
undergoing a major redesign, according to the league, will
feature more All-Star content as the week progresses. On tap for
later this week are chat sessions with Fox announcer John
Davidson, ESPN's John Saunders, artist Peter Max (creator of the
All-Star program cover and official poster), stars playing in
Friday's celebrity game, and All-Star players. Also planned are
interview transcripts and quotes from Friday's activities and
Saturday's post-game. (2) Then, it's on to the players' site at
http://www.nhlpa.com. The NHLPA site features its "Be A Player"
TV show and player stats and bios. (3) Fox, the NHL's U.S.
broadcast partner, is still in football mode at its Fox Sports
site (http:/www.foxsports.com). But there is plenty of updated
hockey news at Fox News' sports area
(http://www.fyionline.com/mcinews/newsroom/NHL/). (4) TSN tops
Canada's sports offerings with a preview of the game, which will
be on TSN Radio. Head to http://www/tsn.ca and click on "The
Broadcast Booth." (5) Going to the game and want to know where
your tickets are? The FleetCenter has an arena map at
http://www.fleetcenter.com/main (THE DAILY).
