MEDIA NOTES

     TBS stock closed Wednesday at its lowest price since August,
with many TBS investors fearing that Time Warner's deal to buy
the company "will collapse or won't yield a big payout if
completed."  TBS investors "have lost virtually" all gains from
the announcement of a possible merger.  In September, the deal
was valued at $7.5B, but is now down to about $6.7B due to the
drop in Time Warner stock (USA TODAY, 1/11)....Fireworks
Entertainment Inc. of Toronto has purchased John Labatt Ltd.'s
Skyvision Productions Ltd., the brewer's film and TV production
subsidiary (Toronto GLOBE & MAIL, 1/11)....Ice Capades announced
a national TV special will be produced by Dick Clark Productions
and be aired on the Family Channel in March.  Tyson Foods will be
presenting sponsor (Ice Capades). ...Football fans looking to buy
officially licensed products can visit the new Football
Superstore site on the Web at http://ncom.com/superstore.  The
Football SuperStore is the first of four sports stores being
created by Online SuperStores (Online SuperStores).
