A HEADY PLAN? IBM FEELING BLUE, IGNORED IN ATLANTA

IBM is using 27 billboards in the Atlanta area to draw
attention to its sponsorship of the '96 Games. According to this
morning's ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, IBM believes "its Olympic
contributions have been overshadowed in Atlanta by home-grown
sponsors such as Coca-Cola." Michael Kanell reports the
billboards, which have been up since November, show only an
unidentified head. The second part of the campaign will add text
suggesting a visit to IBM's official Olympic site on the
Internet. Phase Two is scheduled for completion this week
(ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 12/19).
