DEJA VU: WILL NEW LOOK INCREASE SALES FOR OLD CHAMP?

Steffi Graf took the court last night at Madison Square
Garden wearing a white, one-piece adidas dress for the first time
in her career. The look prompted "a lot of double takes" from
the crowd, according to Shaun Powell of NEWSDAY. Graf, who
defeated Amanda Coetzer 6-2, 6-2, in the quarterfinals of the
Corel WTA Tour Championships, said she had wanted to sport the
new look for a long time, but "never had the guts to." Powell
writes the dress was a change for the "ultra-conservative Graf,"
who said fans will "definitely see it on the court again"
(NEWSDAY, 11/15).
