     The Heat are considering changing its uniform design.  Club
officials will have to inform the NBA by January for changes to
be in place by '97-98 (MIAMI HERALD, 11/9).... Canada's Royal
Bank, which recently announced it was withdrawing its support of
Canadian Amateur Figure Skating, "plans to channel its resources"
in to the sponsorship of Canadian amateur hockey (GLOBE & MAIL,
11/7)....Nike is profiled in this morning's Vancouver PROVINCE as
an "empire."  Lowell Ullrich notes Grizzlies VP Stu Jackson
passed on an opportunity to invest in Nike in '78 when founder
Phil Knight was strapped for cash (Vancouver PROVINCE,
11/8)....Golds Gym International is "out to soften its macho
image" with a new line of sportswear aimed at women, produced by
Miami-based Activewear Corp. (DETROIT NEWS, 11/9).
