     Sports mogul H. WAYNE HUIZENGA is reportedly looking to join
in a business venture of some type with fellow member of the
Forbes magazine's list of the 400 richest Americans, Jim Moran
(MIAMI HERALD, 10/5)....USC is filing suit against agent ROBERT
CARON of Pro Manage.  Caron allegedly gave money and "other
benefits" to three USC football players who have since been
suspended.  The suit will ask for unspecified damages (L.A.
TIMES, 10/6)....REGGIE WHITE, on the O.J. Simpson verdict, as
aired on a local TV station:  "I saw whites crying.  But we've
been crying, our people have been crying for over 400 years. ....
There's been a lot of rich people -- rich whites, rich Jews who
have gotten off, too."  White later apologized to Jewish groups
saying no stereotyping was intended (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL,
10/6)....SERENA WILLIAMS, sister of VENUS WILLIAMS, has decided
not to sue the WTA Tour over rules prohibiting her from turning
pro at age 14.  According to attorney Kevin Davis, the decision
"is only temporary and was reached at the behest of her parents"
(N.Y. TIMES, 10/6).
