TO HOST ALL-STAR DOUBLE DIP IN '97

9.27.1995

Cleveland will host the '97 NBA All Star Game at Gund Arena,
according to a report in yesterday's Cleveland PLAIN DEALER.  The
NBA will make the announcement official today with a press
conference hosted by Commissioner David Stern in front of the
arena.  MLB has already awarded its '97 All Star Game to Jacobs
Field, which is in the same complex as the arena (Cleveland PLAIN
DEALER, 9/26).
