     The Ford Motor Co., Metro Detroit Ford Dealers and WXYZ-TV
have purchased the remaining tickets for tonight's Lions-49ers
game ensuring the ABC "Monday Night" broadcast will be shown
locally (DETROIT NEWS, 9/24)....Infinity Broadcasting will pay
$275M for seven radio stations owned by Alliance Broadcasting,
including San Francisco's KFRC-AM/FM which broadcasts the A's and
Sharks (SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE, 9/24)....MLB Productions has
produced "WAHOO! What a Finish," a 55-minute video on the '95
Indians.  The video will be distributed by Orion Home Video
(Orion).... Fox's John Madden is promoting Sony's surround sound
as the best way to hear football on TV (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 9/24).
....Boxing sources say the decision on whether to move TVKO's
Bowe-Holyfield from November 4 is stuck on a dispute between Bowe
and Caesars Palace, according to Bob Raissman of the N.Y. DAILY
NEWS.  Holyfield's money is guaranteed, but Bowe's depends on
various percentages, including the gate.  Caesars is said to want
to withdraw a portion of Bowe's site fee if the fight is moved
(N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 9/24).  Meanwhile, HBO has announced that it
will premiere "Forrest Gump" on November 4 opposite Tyson-Mathis
on Fox (Baltimore SUN, 9/25)....The N.Y. TIMES profiles Hot Java
--a new computer language which allows Web pages to carry
immediate updates which could "transport the Web to the next
level."  The technology is being used experimentally by Starwave
with ESPNET's SportsZone (N.Y. TIMES, 9/25).
